Update on Medical Mission in Haiti

For those of you who are praying for the Medical Mission Outreach team in Haiti, here is an update they posted on Facebook this morning. You can became a fan on Facebook if you'd like to keep up with them...

Monday - Jan 25th - Several hundred patients had been seen as of that update. Lots of broken legs, arms, hips, etc. A lot of surgical candidates and general medical needs.

Tuesday - Jan 26th AM - While preparing to open the clinic today, they noticed a mother and a very malnourished 3 yr old boy - he is in the end stages of AIDS. Tough start to the day. The clinic is crowded today. Second wave of problems is evident - many severely infected wounds due to the unsterile operating environments in the city. Keep praying!!

I know the team appreciates your prayers as it has been very emotional for them and for the patients and their family members.
